“ Extreamly helpful, friendly staff, who cater for gluten free vegetarian diet, fresh cooked, our food was lovely, I can recomend the cod loin, and cottage pie. And the concoction made up for my vegetarian gf daughter, she enjoyed it, a lot of help was provided with this. Great selection of drinks. Lots of seating inside, and great outdoor area, plenty and lots of cover if needed. It was a very hot day. ”

“ Family meal for mothers day. Grandchildren enjoyed macaroni cheese and ice-cream. Adults all had the roast beef. The roast potatoes veg Yorkshire pud etc were all very tasty. We also had a sharing platter with pigs in blankets, extra roast pots & cauli cheese. Beef a little tough & stringy in places. Probably just the joint we had as I understand they can vary. Excellent service from the lovely Grace . Meals were served quickly and we're nice and hot. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. We live in Poole but haven't been to the Yatchsman in years due to past bad experiences but things have certainly changed and we will be back. ”
“ We arrived for lunch with a couple of friends, the guy that served said they had just opened a few days ago and were still familiarising themselves with the pub. They were open and honest about the situation. We had a lovely lunch, the Caesar salad was well presented, the larger shandy was lovely and the chocolate cake was amazing! We wish them all the best as I'm sure they can only get better, once they've settled in. ”

Thanks to Grace, and also Selina (the manager) who couldn’t have been more attentive when my daughter caught her fingers in the bathroom door.
